Who's the Titans Starting Runningback?

    SUMMARY: On Sunday, Titans Coach Jeff Fisher was asked whether his starting RB is LenDale White or Chris Johnson. "I probably should clarify some things as far as the starting running back position is concerned," said Fisher. "We’re going to use a number of running backs and the starter, as far as I’m concerned, will be the guy that plays the first play of the game. It won’t be because one guy has earned the privilege to start over another. It will be based on what we decide to do as an offensive staff to start the game. They’re going to play. Obviously, we’re going to have two players and as it looks right now it’s going to be LenDale [White] and Chris [Johson]. We’re going to interchange them throughout the game and then back them up with the other guys."

    Finally, we have a running back to get excited about. Chis Johnson was impressive as hell last night. I could not believe how fast he was. Watch and see, he could potentially be rookie of the year.

    Take a chill pill. Lenwhale may very well carry the load, but Chris Johnson will definitely add a huge spark to our team.

    I want to see 3 of the 5
    White to wear you out in the first half
    CJ to run by you in the second half
    and it was good to see Ganther with some moves, but I temper my expectations in seeing it as him working against Ram's scrubs

    my guess

    but if CJ proves he's can be a) consistent and b) healthy, then I'd have no problem handing Johnson the ball all game

    it will be a "thunder" and "lightning" system, similar to that of Lendale and Bush at USC. It will be perfect.
