Not necessarily. I'm a much better ground fighter and I've never had it get that far. Elbows & knees tend to end fights quickly.

If you go to the ground in a street fight, you're already in a bad situation where anybody could come up and start stomping/kicking you. Street fights, you need to stay on your feet and end that sh*t quickly in case of a second attacker, allowing you to stay on your feet and be mobile.


Some of ya'll watch too much UFC. For real.

 

Most street fights I were a part of or witnessed ended with someone on top of another dude on the ground punching him in the face.

But I guess I shouldn't have said "all" because that is not true as people do get ktfo from a standing punch or kick.
