Who is your "mistress" team?

So the Nashville talk show, 3hl or whatever it is called now (at least I think it was them...could be wrong) had a bit last week where they were asking fans of UT, Vandy, Titans, who there "mistress" team is. You know, since we (the Titans) suck, who do you cheer for, on the side so to speak. For me, I grew up a Chiefs fan but they suck now also....I would say I have always "respected" what the NE organization does but I can't bring myself to cheer for them. I suppose I would go for the browns....I realize they just put a historical comeback on us but I do think they are headed in the right direction and I like the way they play. Plus always sort of had a soft spot for the area since they got ****ed over with the ratbirds moving away and then winning a SB a few years later.

Probably Atlanta because I live here now, always loved Green Bay as well.

Bucs before they dropped the 'cremsicles' now .... nobody cause it would have to be NFC according to the Manrules. Cant be a team from the North or West. Cant be one of those 'historic' everyone is a fan team so that leaves Detroit, Minnesota, or the NFC South. Detroit is out cause of the Schwartz taint, Minnesota is out cause they should be in the NFCW. In the South Tampa Bay is out cause they dropped the cremsicles, New Orleans is out cause they stole that game in LP a couple of years ago so Fem with a hammer. That leaves the Falcons and Panthers and I am just not there yet.

Pulled for Falcons, Dolphins, and Broncos as a kid.

IDGAF much about the NFL except for the Titans now thanks to the corporate greed and Goodell's :bs: The bumbling efforts of the Titans FO has me caring very little now even for them.

It's bad when you have to work to give your expensive azz tickets away.
GoT and nickmsmith high five this.

With all my family being from the Detroit area I have always had a soft spot for the Lions. I did like the Seahawks for a bit until Pete Carrol took over that team.

Since I grew up in Missouri, I always have had a soft spot for the Chiefs....really like the old AFL teams I guess. I also have a bit of a soft spot for the Bills...another AFL team, small market, loyal fan base, and counterparty to some great Oiler/Titan memories in both directions.

Funny, I have been living in Wisconsin for nearly 10 years now, and the Packers have just not stuck with me yet. Actually, I liked them better before I moved here LOL. I have tried to watch the Bears, but they are just really tough to watch (have to have a bit of Cubs fan in you I guess).

Carolina and I have been trading flirty glances with each other for a while now, I'm pretty Panther horny.

I am a Manning fan so I generally like to see Peyton do well. Despite all the hate I see directed toward him I still think he represents football and what it should be as well as anyone, however I have way too much emotional history invested in the Titans to give up on them.

I don't really root for anyone else.

But, grew up a steelers fan, not by choice. Fam from the burg, grew up an hour outside.

First jersey ever was a #99 Levon Kirkland.

Don't root for them, but it's a fun rivalry.

I wouldn't say I have a "mistress team". I'm not even remotely invested in another team besides the Titans. But I suppose if I had to pick another team it would be the Bears. Mainly because my wife's family is from Chicago and they're all fans so I end up watching a lot of Bears games anyway.
