Several teams chose to draft a WR with their 1st or 2nd picks last month in the draft. My question to you guys is; which proven WR will have the best season as a result of his team taking a WR early in the draft?

    New York's Santonio Holmes
    Tennessee's Kenny Britt
    Jacksonville's Mike Thomas
    New York's Hakeem Nicks
    Chicago's Brandon Marshall
    Arizona's Larry Fitzgerald
    Other

8-9 of these rookie WR's coming in could play from day-1, we knew this receiver class was deep. So who is it guys?

Fitzgerald will definitely benefit from having Michael Floyd on the other side. We all saw what he was able to do when they had Boldin.

I would also shout Marshall out on that list but he's probably gonna be suspended at least a few games to start the season.

Kenny will benefit in the sense that he won't have to rush back too early.

I don't think Kenny Britt sees this as a benefit to him. If he could stay healthy, He and Washington are perfectly good enough to suffice as a #1 and #2 target.

Because of KB's lack of durability, a first round receiver becomes a legitimate option. It's rarely a good thing when a team drafts someone else in your position in the first round.

Unless you are a known #1 receiver like Fitzgerald, a high pick at receiver is a threat. Britt has not proven that he can be relied upon for a full season, so insurance is needed.

There are only so many catches to go around.

This is true, but there once was a time where there were only 15 catches to go around in TN, now with Hass/Locker that number has easily doubled.

Most quality NFL teams do have more than 2 good WR's. Look at New England, almost everyone they have once started for somebody. It's almost like their 3rd and 4th receivers are 1B and 2B. You need depth to survive 16+ games in the NFL.

AJ Green will benefit from Muhamed Sanu / Marvin Jones.
They had nada on the other side last year with Jordan Shipley injured..

If Britt misses another 10 games this year he is a bust.
Never saw so much hype over a guy who contributes squat and is a band-aid away from jailtime.

Titans were 8th in the league last year in pass attempts. Some of it due to the ineffectness of the run game, but passing worked.

Screw the Bengals and screw the Packers. I look at both those teams first few picks and want to kill them for drafting the players I wanted for us. Stupid smart scouts, and their stupid smart GM's.

Of course, you have to factor Warner >>>>> Kolb into that equation. Probably not as many completions for Fitz and Floyd to share as there were when Fitz and Boldin were together.
