You are IN LOVE with VY. Of course you'd rather have Young than Locker, you'd rather have Young than any QB in the league!

Because while VY wasn't very good- Jake Locker is bad. Simply put.

And he's not getting any better. He's done.

 

Thats kind of my point. Locker up to this point hasn't been any improvement at the QB position. Had they held to Vince Young they would be getting similar results at QB while utilizing the pick used on Locker for someone like JJ Watt at DE

 

Production wasn't entirely the issue. It was pretty crappy, but when the coaching staff and front office just straight up don't want you as their quarterback things won't work. You're also comparing a guy with 11 starts to a guy with over 50.

And you always take the guy you think can be a franchise QB over the defensive player.

 

Wrong again. Jake is as good or better a passer as VY. VY played on great Titan teams with great linemen, now that Jake has the supporting cast he can now take us farther than Vince did.
