When you look at FA so far

The only thing I am actually disappointed with is safety. I don't think we could have done much with it either way so it is kind of a wash.

Missing out on Wells sucks, but we tried, thats all you can ask for. I really want to get Trufant, but free agency still has some guys left that can fill the nickel role.

So far, I am very very impressed with out moves.

 

I agree get a CB (porter is the one I want)and have another good draft on Defense and It will make me really happy.

The Center potion is the big issue and I don't see it getting fix.

 

Oh yea completely agree ! And with this years draft overall being pretty weak (IMO)..the scouts are definitely going to have to do their homework for us to come away with some solid picks

 

On us being a 9-7 team: We were 9-7 in the same division with the historically awful Colts and the typical awful Jaguars.

And we lost to them one time each. I'm not looking at this team as loftily as the 9-7 record shows. This team could definitely use some biig upgrades at Safety, OL, DL, and WR. Fairly confident with McCourty/Verner and maybe another rookie. McC and Verner earned their playing time, in my eyes.

 

Todd McClure is my choice. He's a very good center. Think he finished 7th among Centers in 2011.

 

There are some decent CBs who could play the nickle for us:

Tracy Porter, William Middleton, William Gay, Chris Carr, Marcus Trufant, Terence Newman, Corey Graham, Chris Johnson, Justin Tryon, and Lito Sheppard.

Or we could even spend a 2nd-4th rounder for a nickle CB. Look at Verner, and how quickly he stepped in.

 

We came in hoping to better the OL & DL and I believe we've already done both and aren't done adding to those units.

 

I would like to add one of these!
