I've been wondering a long time, I know he's on the PUP but for how long?

He has until week 6 to come back or else he is on IR.

I'm not sure if I'm totally correct on this one, but, like gunny said, he can come back at week 6 and practice until week 8. if he isn't in playing condition by the end of week 8, he's placed on IR.

I'll be very surprised if we see Givens this year.

In fact, from everything we've heard and read, I'm thinking his career is probably over. :(

I didn't think he was worth the money in the first place, nevermind now. I'd just release him and go with the youth movement. I wouldn't like to think we release someone like Ealy for him and his rusty body.

He's better than anyone we have now.

Ya think? I don't know how you can say that when the WRs on the active roster can actually play, where as givens can not. Therefore Givens has no value where the others do.

    I don't think I know.

Done more than anyone on the roster with the exception of Moulds. All we have is unproven players, because they are injury free doesn't make them better.

I don't think you know either...

I can understand the position of those who find value in veteran players.

The younger players admit they learn from them.

But I would rather see the roster sopts go to those cheap young picks.
