I love that pick. The dude has balled on special teams and should be a great role playing LB. Zach Brown needs a breather? Perfect substitute. I dunno how good his coverage skills are but his sheer pass rushing ability justifies that pick for me, especially for a 34 defense when we need all the pass rushing help from our OLBs as we can get.

And if nothing else, the dude is one of the best LBs in Madden with that 90 speed, high hit power and catching. Him and Tommy Campbell are low-rated monsters.

I bet Tommie Campbell's awareness stat is lower than his jersey number.

He kinda sucks in M25 due to that, but in M13 where awareness didn't matter much he was a true shutdown corner. Can't outrun him, can't throw over him, can't get off his press, and it's tough to hang on to the ball when he's beatin down on your ass.

I'm of the mindset to draft your guys and keep the good ones. FA is more for fleshing the team out. I'm not trying to find stars in FA because they bust at a very high rate and cost a lot of money. The only way to pull this off is to draft good, and we were so bad at it for so long. Were getting better though.

    Speaking of salary cap:

The Nashville Tennessean doesn't expect FS Michael Griffin to be a salary-cap casualty.
Cutting Griffin would create $6.2 million in real savings, and $8 million in cap space, but reporter Jim Wyatt believes his roster spot is "OK." Griffin missed the first two games of his career last season, but continued to play at an above-average level. Still only 29, Griffin should be back. He's signed through 2016.

The Titans plan to meet with Chris Johnson's agent at the Combine.
Perhaps this is where the sides will agree to their inevitable divorce, though GM Ruston Webster said Thursday that the team is in no hurry to make a decision. "We can be as patient as we want to be." Be that as it may, the Titans are going to want to clear CJ?K's cap space before free agency begins on March 11. He's in his last days with the team.

The Nashville Tennessean expects the Titans to retain Nate Washington for 2014.
Washington has a $4.8 million base salary entering his age-31 season, but the Titans are ostensibly not quite ready to hand No. 2 receiver duties to sophomore Justin Hunter. Ideally, Kendall Wright and Hunter would emerge as Tennessee's clear-cut top-two wideouts, with Washington taking a backseat. Washington would then become a awfully pricey insurance policy, however.

Source: Jim Wyatt on TwitterThe Nashville Tennessean "can't see a scenario" where the Titans bring back RT David Stewart.
NFL.com's Ian Rapoport agrees. Due $6.4 million in a "voidable year," Stewart has missed four games each of the past two seasons, and been average when on the field. He'll turn 32 in August.
