What I think they are thinking in the four team headquarters of the AFC South Monday ...
    Houston Texans
The first win is the hardest and for those games we lost that we felt like we should have won, we got one back. Our guys showed gumption and resolve and overcame mistakes. The carry over from having won like that should be huge and we have to spend the early part of this week emphasizing how the result against Miami changes our expectations and resets the bar.
Hard as we rooted for Denver and Baltimore yesterday, we didn't see the results that would have benefitted us. But we're in no position to look at the standings or the schedule or anything but the fact that we've got Detroit here on Sunday and should be in position to win two in a row.
    Indianapolis Colts
We're back. We can think it for a day. It sure felt good to know we can still be the Colts everyone has come to know and fear and beating up a physical Baltimore team that brought the league's No. 1 defense to Lucas Oil Stadium sure felt good.
But one win doesn't fix our problems and to make it meaningful we have to do it over and over now -- find the big plays on offense, rally to the ball on defense, get an early lead and put the opposition in position where it thinks it might not be able to forge a comeback. Everyone has made a big deal out of this stretch of schedule, but Green Bay's beatable at Lambeau. If Matt Ryan could lead the Falcons to a win there, Peyton Manning sure can do the same for us.
    Jacksonville Jaguars
That win in Denver was a testament to our steadiness -- through six weeks of the season and through 60 minutes of a game. We've given ourselves loads of reasons to believe considering how we started and where we are now.
And while we don't want to take anything in the next month for granted, there is no reason we shouldn't be in great shape in a month. We've survived our roughest times. Maybe Indianapolis has too. But the Titans haven't faced theirs yet. And the ordering of this division is hardly set in concrete.
    Tennessee Titans
Good thing most of us tried to spend our Sunday off away from the TV, because we couldn't have had a worse day while not playing. Everybody else in the division won.
Indianapolis is getting it together, but we have to remind everyone not to look a game ahead to our Monday night showdown with the Colts in two weeks. We'll hear a lot of media talking about trap game potential in Kansas City. We won in Arrowhead Stadium last December and now we are better and the Chiefs are worse.
