Is Lamont the best safety? No. He is decent enough to have signed an extended contract last off season. The Coaches feel that his intangibles are enough to keep him around. Even if they get a safety in FA, they will keep LT. I can't believe the Titans called my Daddy's bluff and let him quit! Hmph!!!!

And no, LT wasn't abducted by aliens.

 

He'd be a good backup.. But no way does he qualify as a starter.

most of his ints i think were products of complete luck...both him and hill...whether they came at the end of hte game on a long must pass play oer perahps a deflection and they get the int...**** like that.

 

My favorite LT play this year was when a Titan, think it was Bulluck, was attempting to tackle a RB on the goalline LT came up and JUMPED OVER the encounter instead of dropping his shoulder to help in the tackle. Gutless, clueles and pathetic all in one play.

 

He was lucky enough that Reese made the mistake of offering him a new contract. That mistake is one of the reasons Reese is gone.

 

The only positive thing I can say about LT is that at least he's only a safety. Imagine if he was our QB.:bricks:
