All day - every day. Fitzpatrick is a leader and Pince Young is a crybaby.
If the entire team and coaching staff has to walk on eggshells as to avoid a juvenile freakout from your QB then you need a new QB.

He'd be my first choice for realistic QB oppurtunity in 2011. Over Vince Young, and definitely over Kevin Kolb.

I like FitzPATRICK, wouldn't be worth more than a 3rd. He's what, 28? 29? Has had a great season... with the BILLS! He has decent stats: 238.4 Yds/G 2 TDS 1 INT 58.3 Comp%. However, I think the Bills do NOT take a QB - Unless Luck is still available. Fitzpatrick has showed he can be a starting QB. Bills have a horrible OL and rush defense. They do have a decent secondary so no CB. My guess is they'll go with Nick Fairley, DE/DT, Auburn.

Set Vince aside for a moment. Starter or not we desperately need an experienced QB to come in next year. Collins is clearly done. Vince has never played a complete season. Rusty needs time.

I would take Fitzpatrick over Kolb, he's done more with less. Like it or not, Vince will be on the team next year. If we bring in a vet and he wins the job then I'm happy with that. If we bring in a vet and Vince wins the job, I'm happy with that. I just want someone, anyone to win it and own it.

He's smart, got a good arm, and grows a grizzly beard. Plus he looks pretty alright on the Bills with Stevey Johnson dropping every other pass thrown to him. Why not take a shot?

I followed Fitz pretty closely the year Carson Palmer went down and though his first couple games were similar to Rusty you could clearly see a guy stepping it up and improving every game and taking on the role of team leader - gaining the respect of his teammates. By season's end he was a valid starting QB - exactly the reason The Bills snatched him up the following season.
I'd take a guy like him in a heartbeat over any QB on The Titans roster..

I would give Fitzpatrick a pass his first 2 years in the league coming from Harvard the enviroment is so different. Harvard doesn't even have scholarship athletes.

He has played a significant amount of time the previous 2 years with typical backup type results. His 70 passing rating with the Bengals in over 300 pass attempts was hardly impressive but not Rusty Smith like. His numbers in significant playing time last year were similar.

So what is he, a good player who is just now hitting his stride in his 5th season or a decent to good backup just having an unusual year.

I doubt the Bills will let him go.

Kyle Orton would be a better guy in my book. Depending on the price.. Orton is the same age..
