May be a no-brainer, but Nick Harper is that guy. He's not bad. He's definitely not horrible, he's just not a #1 corner on many teams.
So far he's been the guy out of position the most, and the one getting picked on most. Brees tossed up a floater than Reynaldo Hill could have found, and Harper ran the wrong way out from under the ball allowing the Saints receiver to go up and get the ball uncontested.

Hopefully our GM and front office is smart enough to allow PacMan back if he keeps his nose clean during his suspension. This defense would be top 3 if we had Pac to shut down an entire side of the field as he does so well. But I also hope, when we do this that we don't move Harper to the other side unless we're placing Finnegan in the nickel. Finnegan stuck Reggie Wayne like glue, and it takes perfect passes to complete against him. Harper...well, he doesn't.
But again, Harper has done better than I thought he would, and he isn't bad. He's just about our only weakness at this point though. (other than the D-Line gasping for air before half-time, and the invisibility of Antwan Odom after every preseason)

    So who gets your vote?

Harper is definitely the weakest in the secondary, but even then he's merely above average, not bad. He seems to be the one who gives up the most plays, but I think thats more on how nice Finnagin has been so far. If and when PacMan returns, our corners will be scary.

I don't have any real gripes on Lowry per say, but I really really want to see Griffin on the field ASAP, and I just don't see him as a corner. I think his coverage is too raw and his athleticism and run-support ability too great to be a corner. I've been disappointed and frustrated in how he's been utilized (he's been superb on special teams).

Pacman and Finny together would have mad man coverage skills.

But Pac can't come back until next season.

Harper looks bad in coverage sometimes, but is good against the run, loves to stick his nose in there....but so did Pac....sigh

    Fowler looks avg.

Hard to say on Lowry, can't remember any big mistakes like LT, so that's a huge plus. Seems better in run support too.

Brown has been ok. Love to root for the guy, but he's not been very good....but good enough.

Odom....still a bit of a preseason tease. Still playing better than I though he would though, guess the muscle and lbs he put on this offseason is paying off. Still has the explosion too.

Well that was kind of a ramble....but if I had to name one guy, it's Harper. I'd say Fowler could be that guy, but the thing that gets us all about Harper....Griffin, or 1st round pick, is sitting behind him :-/

What's wrong with Fowler? Sure, he benefits from Haynesworth mauling dudes in front of him, but what specifically had made him a weak link?

Harper is a key reason the Titans have improved against the run.

True but I bet he will give up a big pass every now and then

Most CBs do. I think he's done a good job so far overall.

Certainly he hasn't done anything wrong yet he just kinda scares me sometimes. There was a few times where he could of given up a touchdown on a big play. Finnegan on the other hand plays guys tight.
