We need to talk Jake Locker

I don't see what warrants all of the hate towards Jake. His Rookie year he rallied the team every single time he was put in the game. His sophomore year he had a seriously injury that kept aggravating him the entire season. Our O-Line was non existent, and our defense was one of the worst in franchise history. Our WRs were unproductive, and we made coordinator changes.. Could you really expect him to win us a bunch of games?

I know he has some accuracy issues, but it will be okay. Even McNair didn't start completing 60% constantly until several years in as a starter. We all know Jake has the intangibles, and I absolutely love his character. He is the perfect QB to coach. He will never whine for a bigger contract, as he has never made a decision based on money in his entire life.

The Titans are moving in the right direction.. we're bolstering the O-Line, adding more depth and weapons, and our young but potential-filled defense will start making strides to improve. I see good things going forward for him, and the team. Maybe we'll start to incorporate some pistol or read option like Seattle, Washington, and San Fran. Jake undoubtedly needs more time before we start calling for his head. He is easily the best QB we have had since Air McNair.

Dude you just got to realize that sometimes having all the intangibles and being the guy is two different things. He can be a great leader, teammate, person, etc.... but if you cant play then you cant play. There is no changing that. This is his last chance to make something happen. If he sucks it up again this year then we need to move despite how good his character is.

He was in a no-win situation last year.. Peyton Manning would have struggled to get us to 8 wins last year. I do agree that this year he has to step up, or we'll be looking at a coaching change and who knows what will happen with him.

We had 6 wins last year but Peyton would've struggled to get us to 8???

Peyton would have gotten more than 8 wins.

Jake is jake. And the intangibles mean more than y'all think. His time is near. We are setting him up right now. He will be our Franchise QB.

Jake Locker will be fine, who cares what a bunch of part-time fans say. He was a good pick for us, and I'm excited to see him take off in 2013 with a good line and run game.

He should be able to do more with the addition of Levitre and Walker. Add Amendola for slants, SLGO and outs should give Jake a reliable target. I'm a critic but I have to admit that no QB would have been given a fair chance behind an OL that limited our running game.

He will do just fine when he figures out the opposing team is not our friends.

There should be no excuses this upcoming year. I don't care if he lights it up (even though I want him to). However, I want to see progress.

It's just the way some Titans fans are. They did the same thing to Vince. If you remember, fans were split on whether they wanted him to stay or go. Fans are now split over their support for Locker. IMO, we're way too quick to throw our players under the bus. Maybe its not just our fanbase, but this is the only fanbase I'm able to judge.
