Was Winning Worth it?

    Of course it was worth it. The point of the season is to try and make the post season, and then advance in the post season if you do make it. And I am not sure the McDaniel's fascination on this board, but he is in no way a proven head coach.

    Winning games now has no impact on the future. We have no idea what we would have with McDaniels if he were to come here, so there is no guarantee McDaniels (or any other coach), would produce any more wins or advance in the post season.

    As crazy as it sounds, Mariota can be Brady-lite. Brady hasn't been a great deep ball thrower for the last few years now but he's probably the best short/intermediate thrower in NFL history. Mariota is a very good short/intermediate passer, and McDaniels has done an excellent job with the Patriots designing those plays.

    I think McDaniels and Mariota would be a perfect match. I just want someone developing Mariota so he doesn't have to develop and call all plays himself.

    I think we should still keep in mind that Mularkey went for 2 and could of cost us the game if KC made a fg at the end. I want us to win but mularkey another year makes me want to drink more.
