Tebow doesn't bother me at all. He can play in the SEC as long as he wants. I haven't felt the Heisman side of him yet.

Vince seems very weak minded. He lets too much get to him. Gotta get a backbone if you want to be a superstar.

im sure he isnt the only player who thought about walking out. heck normal people thinking about walking off the job every day. it's part of life. you have good days and bad days.

VY is 24, your parents and family coming to you asking for you to support them etc... it can mess your mind up. even if you are rich. Plus being a NFL QB puts pressure on the young guys to mature really fast and think like a 40 year old man.

I'm sure it's not often that a player in his 1st or 2nd year as a pro football player thinks about retirement. Maybe, but I doubt it.

I absolutely love football, playing it and watching it. I played football all the way through highschool and could have played in college but chose not to because I felt like God wanted me to do something else. Football is hard on anyone, not just NFL players, at times you feel like calling it quits. Ecspecially when your personal life feels like it is coming onto the feild with you. I know in highschool it seemed like every year, at the start of the season when you have to work the hardest, I always asked my self "Is it worth it?" If it wasn't for my friends, teammates, family, and God giving me the srength to play each year it would have been hard not to call it quits. Having all the pressure from your community, fans, and coaches to perform can be a lot to handle. Then add injuries and other things such as burn out or even depression (I had a lot of depression in highschool). So I completely understand what he was saying. It sounds like though he may be though that part in his life. After the season started and the hardness of those first few months were over, I would enjoy myself tremedously and it was those moments of glory and pride that would care me through the entire season into the next. Vince seems like a good kid and I hope he doesn't let the pressure get to him too much this upcoming season.

Gloat luckily you've taught me that being a superstar isn't important. I'd rather him be a winner than a superstar. I think this article does a great job of showing how much the team trusts him and the positive steps the offense is taking this offseason.

I wouldn't say Vince is a winner. Most of the games last year were won by the defense. So, Vince is neither a superstar nor a winner. I don't care what people say "oh we made the playoffs"...but guess what? We didn't win the game. Vince couldn't score a TD. Bironas was all we had in that game, and thats why I don't see vince as a winner or a superstar. If he has another year like the one last year, i'm going to flip out. I can already see the excuses flying in "It was a new offense", "There were no WR's"...etc...

so we'll see how the season pans out
