VY = 3-0 since taking over this season

I just read this quote that Cj said about playing with VY "It changes a lot. The defense has got to choose. Do they want to stop 10 (Vince Young) or do they want to stop 28 (Chris Johnson). That is what me and Vince say everyday. Whichever one you choose to stop, the other one is going to have a good day.

 

Here's a simple way for everyone to understand.
The Houston game, up 21 pts. Change nothing on the offense and give that team the POST BYE defense. To me there's not even a speck of a chance we lose that game.

Even with the bad defense, we were down 3 points with 3 minutes to go with the ball. If Kerry Collins didn't fail when it counted we still would have won.

 

go look at his highlights on NFL.com, or look at the game log. Look how good we were on 3rd down. That is what he brings. He'll never be the most accurate passer and if that is what you want out of a QB (someone who throws a beautiful accurate spiral) then you'll never like him. But he makes plays, makes the running game better and can be a very good leader.

QB's job is to put his team in position to win. VY is doing that.

That said, whatever CJ wants next contract they should give him.

Some of you are saying that if we lost CJ we wouldn't be as good?

Does this mean that Troy Aikman wasn't as good without Emmit Smith or Michael Irvin?
Does this mean that Terry Bradshaw wasn't as good without Lynn Swan or Franco Harris?

Here is the 3rd down conversions 11/17 - 64% this is a incredible number for 3rd downs. I r ember when we were 0-6 3 and outs were the norm. :grrr:

 

Playing from behind in New York, Pittsburgh, New England and at home against the Colts rather than having a steady special teams, healthy defense at home against Jax and Buffalo, and in San Fran may be a slight indicator of the results.

For Vince's confidence, contrary to many of his loyalists belief according to their many posts after Indy and New England games, it played into his favor that not being thrown into the fire until we hit the easy part of the schedule.

yeah these points they scored have came when the game was already over anyway, so they were pretty much irrelevant!!!! Stop drinking the haterade and actually give credit where credit is due! Vince is playing a big role in our winning streak and the team def has a diff vibe since hes came in!!
