Yup, cover zero. Ike Taylor got burned. Then Mundy couldn't catch Thomas. Pretty sure Polamalu would have had a chance if he didn't bite on the run so hard.

 

I don't know if anyone has brought this up in this thread. (I'll check after) Jamaal Anderson has started 48 career games and played in 75 of them and he only has 7.5 career sacks.

I GUARANTEE we sign him. I'm going to be sick.

Also William Gay is the worst corner ever so yeah we pretty much are gonna sign both of these SCRUBS.

 

Why would you be sick? If we do sign, it's obviously just for depth. It's not like we will sign Anderson and expect him to start.

 

Oh believe me he'd start.

Even with his 7.5 sacks in 75 career games he'd be a terrible backup.

 

Maybe on a Fisher-coached team.

I imagine our starting DEs are Morgan and rookie, unless we sign Freeney.

 

I swear if we had Jim W, this guy would be the perfect type of player for him. Especially, because of the Wide - 9 technique used under Fish. Just think about it, former WR turned DE, sprinting after players from the 'very' end. Good stuff i think.

Anyway, i hear this new (pass rush specialist) guy we got is pretty good. If he can help Anderson's game resulting in a player who can get some sacks in obvious passing downs, ill definitely take that. He's not the total package, but as wplatham said, thats good depth.

Again, i remind you we have two DE's on the roster, at this point we need bodies badly. And i'll take a young player with upside over an aging guy.

Also, the market sucks for DE's right now, teams aren't letting their good ones get away. So its not like there's options out there. We definitely need to strike gold in the draft or strike a trade for a good player or we might be in trouble again next season.

 

I too miss Washburn. Why did we let him go in the first place. Bet we got out-bid.

Why hasn't the Titans looked at Samson Satele? Hes one of the best centers still available.

I think I read that Satele got in trouble just the other day. Not sure what for though, I don't remember it being very serious. He may still be worth taking a look at. Anyone is better than Amano.

As for Anderson, we just need some DEs period. He won't be a starter, but we cant just play without any DEs

Edit: I just saw the post above mine ... Satele just got arrested for a misdemeanor of disorderly conduct. Thats not too bad. I say bring him in anyway. He is at least worth a look.
