Vince Young suspected of assault

    Vince Young receives an assault citation

    Earlier today, reports emerged that police in Dallas suspect Titans quarterback Vince Young of assault in the wake of an incident at a local strip club.

    Now, Young has received a citation to that effect.

    You know there's a middle ground here, right?

    99.9% of people don't find it hard to not get charged with assault. It's not asking too much to expect players to live up to that standard.

    And yes, I know that Vince has not been charged yet. It sounds like charges may be coming, though. I am speaking in general terms, anyhow. This should apply to all players.

    No one is saying they can't cut loose a bit. We're saying they need to be smart enough to not get into fights.

    "Police said no one will be arrested." Worst case scenario VY gets a $500 fine, we just have to hope Goodell let's him off with a fine and doesn't give him 1 or maybe 2 games which I think would be the MOST he would get suspended for an infraction as small as this.

    I agree. Put yourselves in smart situations. I just think players are having fun alot differently now and people just cannot stand it.

    how do you not get what the issue is

    he is the face of the franchise. these kinds of things can put a hurting on the advertising dollars coming into the franchise. you dont want the image of your team to be associated with behavior like this.

    its not really hard to understand how this makes the titans look bad
