Obviously, if Hasselbeck is hurting, Locker needs to play. Has anyone here said otherwise?

If both are 100%, I stay with Hasselbeck because I think he gives the Titans the best chance to win (not that I think it matters on Sunday).

FWIW, Rusty should do well against the Colts on Sunday.

I've just yet to hear a good reason to start a healthy hasselbeck over Locker.

Or maybe one you are willing to accept?

For the Colts to have a chance in this one, they'll need turnovers. Hasselbeck has seen everything. He has a lot more experience and played them once already this year. He should be able to take care of the football better than a rookie who has all of three quarters of experience.

So you're scared Jake Locker is going to turn the ball over? Based off what? He's yet to turn it over all season. Sorry but thats not a good reason and I don't see who would accept that one.

He's a rookie, I get it, but he hasn't played like one. Meanwhile, Matt Hasselbeck has 4 turnovers in the last 5 weeks with minimal offensive produciton.

IN ORDER TO WIN against the colts, we're going to need to score points, Locker has done that, he should be able to do it against a sorry Colts Defense.

I don't get some of you, you'll question Fisher for blindly standing behind a worse player than his backup, but your doing the exact same thing here.

Well you're lucky. In a season you expected to see 5-11, you're probably going to see 9-7 or 10-6.

Completing 45% of your passes is the definition of playing like a rookie. If you think Jake Locker is a better QB then Matt Hasselbeck right now then you must be crazy.

I wish I could agree with this. But that's just not the truth. Jake Locker took most of the reps last Wednesday and Thursday when Hasselbeck was held out to heal up. So he actually was prepared for the Saints.

The issue he had was the same issue Hasselbeck had week-1, no RB to pick up the slack. If you recall last years playoff win vs New Orleans, Hasselbeck had Marshawn Lynch going sick. I really think if C.J. got going, we'd have won that game.

He's throw into double coverage including a few which should have been intercepted. He's taken the sack instead of throwing the ball away. That's what I base it on. There isn't a rookie to ever play who stepped in and knew NFL defenses like someone who has been around a few seasons.

Your opinion is based on a total of 50 attempts by a rookie in which he's completed less than half. This against defenses playing soft and giving him everything underneath.

But, whatever. Believe what you want.

How's Avery doing, BTW? He's the guy you said would be starting over D. Williams once he learned the playbook.

Jake throws lasers out there, defenders don't catch lasers, so I'm not worried about him turning the ball over.
