I would give the ball to the biggest and fastest playmaker in the game too! Especially if i was a qb! He wasnt doing crap all day because the line was a joke. Do you think it was all CJ? Cause if you do your crazy! He had been on a three game tear and our opponent was just as bad at stopping the run. There was no blocking at all just like earlier in the season!

Locker has also played against defense playing to minimize the big play. Look at how many check downs Locker makes that end up big plays because of Saint defenders whiffing.

He did hit a couple of deep balls despite that which is encouraging.

So what better time to see what hes got than now? Hass is beat up, Locker has looked great.

Let him play against a defense that has game planned for him.

We actually agree here. I wondered the same thing, if Locker kept that ball it's a first down.

I chalk that up to being a rookie. I'm sure the coaches will go over this play with him and point out the same thing.

The good about the play is that at a bare minimal he's looking down the field while running looking to make a play rather than simply tucking it away and running. That's encouraging to see!

His chronic inaccuracy was proven at the University of Washington.

Locker threw some balls like he was coming off of the bench and being thrown into a game unprepared.

Jake Locker was thrown into Sunday's game off the bench unprepared.

Jake played great given the circumstances. He also had an impressive performance his other opportunity.

It's time to give him more opportunities.

What's your point? That Locker's NFL sample size isn't big enough to judge his accuracy?

If only his college numbers didn't support the assertion that Locker is inaccurate.

Over view of every play in the video. Focus on locker.
    Play #
1 complete. Hawkins, short hook route. Pressure in face.

2 complete. Ringer, check down. Moved out of pocket.*

3 complete. Stevens. Beautiful throw over the top of the coverage.*

4 incomplete. Starts with a quick pump fake, gets big pressure up the middle scrambles out, throws a catchable ball but Nate and cj collide

5 incomplete. Wr screen that was blown up. Hard to tell if locker made a smart throw or made a terrible one. Wouldn't have wanted the completion anyway.*

6 incomplete. Play action roll out with a free rush on the boot side. Locker had to adjust his roll to go further back and make a throw to the TE. Hard pass to make falling back.*

7 complete, Johnson. This play could have went either way. Maybe he makes it running, maybe he thinks Johnson could do something special. Hard to fault him with a defender off to his left watching him. And anyways... Isn't CJ supposed to be the "Play Maker"?

8 incomplete. Looks like locker got in a rush and threw the ball a little wild.*

9 complete. Hawkins, blitz again and picks it up well.*

10 incomplete. Rolls to his right. Good protection. Throws a catchable ball where only the WR can get it. Wr drops it.*

11 incomplete. Throws a bomb up to Williams and is a little short. Catchable if we had a true #1 wr out there. Maybe got a little greedy. Had a guy with lb coverage coming over the middle. Might have been able to convert.

12 incomplete. Tipped pass. Cb had a good read on this throw. Very well could have been intercepted.*

    13 qb keeper.*

14 incomplete. Had a defender coming up on his right side and it looks like he has to alter the throw to stop it from being tipped. This almost looks intentional. Again hard to say.*

15 incomplete. Dropped by cj. This would have been a very well played screen had butterfingers caught the ball.*

16 complete. Williams. Blitz on left side picked up and locker and Williams on same page.*

17 TD! Lol locker with some crazy matrix move to get the ball ^in bounds. Don't get hurt kid!*

18 sacked. Blitz came and pocket collapsed. Two receivers running into each other. Can't fault the rookie here. He went down before getting murdered.*

19 incomplete. Stupid pass. Has a guy running over the middle with ^no coverage and instead decides to scramble and try to go big. Ends up having to hack it out flat footed while a defender try's to bring him down. It is 3rd and 19 though.*

    20. Complete. Pretty throw on a quick slant.*

21 runs it and shows some wheels. Good heads up play.*

22 complete. Washington. Looks the safety off and Bombs to the end zone via post route. Beautiful throw and catch ^in a key moment of the game. *

23 runs it again after the pocket breaks down.*

24 complete. Washington. Crossing route over the middle after he had already looked down field.*

25 incomplete. Batted down at the line. Hard to see if Williams was open enough or where this ball would have went.*

26 incomplete. Thrown high. Again another blitz. Well contested*

27 complete. Washington. Wide blitz again picked up and strike delivered.

    28. Incomplete. Takes a monster hit. Big blitz. Not much time never seen the rush on the right side.*

29 incomplete. Fade to Williams. Over thrown. Questionable call.*

30 qb sneak... Ummm... First down much? Zebras strike again.*

31 complete. Quick pass to Hawkins.*

32 complete. Washington. Same hook route play of the game. This was definitely something they went to often.*

33 complete. Washington. Another big bomb that almost won this game. Great throw.*

34 clocks it at the 5. Love lockers intensity here. He's hyped up. Crowds hyped up. Love it.*

35 incomplete. Last throw of the game. Looks like Williams was a bit more open than Mariani.

13 completions. 3 dropped balls. 1 possible int. 3 questionable throws.*
3 tipped passes. 1 sack because of wr error. 7 throws with accuracy problems. 7 completions from either blitz pickup or check down. 3 beautiful deep balls.*

Looked decent from a review stand point. Very little help from the run game. Did a good job at reading and picking up the blitz. Has a knack for getting us close and making big plays when needed to. Still making some rookie mistakes. Has some accuracy issues also. Seems to help energize the team.*

I wonder if all you fans are going to hold his (well deserved, market value) contract against him if he comes out next year and has 1,500 yards an 11 TD. Just a thought...
