I forgot how exciting it is to watch Vy run the offense in a nail biter. He is much more likely to make a big play than Collins.

With Collins ,if the drawn up play doesn't work, it's over.

Because when your in the playoffs. The big players show up. In the playoffs. Guys like Kerry who ride the teams strenthgs will be forced to emerge. And i don't think kerry has what it takes to produce when it's a totally different ball game in january.

The O-line may be a tad off but I don't think that's the key in these end of the game situations. I think Kerry is playing within his physical limits, he can't avoid a rush other than to slide away, so he kills plays with throw-aways instead of taking a sack. The problem I see is he's bailing too soon. Those two throw-aways in Pitt and that complete nothing of an effort vs the Ravens in the last drive of the playoff game are what ticks me off about his play. When he's in game manager style games he does a fine job. But if you need a play made in a hurry up, pressure situation, he rarely gets it done.

In games that count, VY played with CJ in the 2008 opener only- the game in which CJ got dehydrated and had to leave the game at one point. Not to mention it was CJ's very first NFL game and he was still feeling his way. When VY played in the other two games CJ was on the bench. We have not had a real look at VY and CJ playing together at anytime in the last two years. Now that CJ has hit his stride and Vince has the benefit of time and study at the position, I thing these two could be special together. I just hope Fisher will let it happen.

Collins is a much better QB than Trent Dilfer. If White and Crumpler don't fumble were playing the Steelers in the AFC championship game. We had a SB caliber team last year even with Collins. Were NOT a SB caliber team with Young.

Trent Dilfer's defense was a lot better than ours.

A lot? They gave up 10.3 points per game that year and we gave up 14.6 points per game last year, that's not "a lot" better. Besides, we had a better offense.

we didn't even have the best defense in the league last season, let alone one of the best of this decade. We're not going to be a superbowl team until we get a QB that can make plays when it counts.
