i was reading an article bout vick off foxsports called "Witness: Vick thought it 'funny' when dogs died"

we all no bout the dogfighting not really wat i wanna talk bout...look at this extract

"The former Atlanta Falcons quarterback, once the highest paid player in the NFL, has been suspended indefinitely by the league and his football future is uncertain. He's also in the midst of bankruptcy proceedings with $16 million in assets and $20.4 million in liabilities."

my question will mike vick once a 100 million dollar QB, be comin out of prison broke?

In short, he's an idiot. He deserves worse than he gets.

He's making money in prison. It's only $0.12/hr but it's something.

what some of you may not know is that apart from fighting dogs Vick would place ordinary family pet type dogs in the ring with a trained pit bulls. This is the equivalent of putting a high school band drum major in a mma ring with Fedor Emelianenko.

First of all he is not broke by normal standards. He will file bankruptcy and settle his debts at maybe 25% what they are and come out of it with a net worth of $6-7M. He may have to sell some more things but he is not broke.

2nd of all he never had his hand on 100M dollars. That was the value of a contract he will never see even half that money and the falcons tried to recoup $22M of his SB.

Vick is still under contract but because he can't play they don't have to pay the $6M salary.

Lions will pick him up next season and draft a 1st round WR.

He lost multi-millions of dollars that he will never get back, went to jail, was scrutinized by everyone and their cat and dog and you say he deserves worse? What should he get the death sentence?

Do you have a link or something?

    Sounds kinda hearsay to me.

do I have the reputation for making things up? I didn't think I needed a link as this is front page sporting news and all over the internet. The story is super easy to locate with google.

I never post bs unless it's from The Onion.

Easy now. I wasn't calling you out. I just thought it sounded like hearsay.

    The link would have sufficed.

    Thanks.
