Vanden Bosch Sets Tone for Titans D

    It may be partly because they used to be the Oilers, one...

    But most of the disrespect is more disregard... It's because they're labeled the "Tennessee" Titans. Tennessee is and always will be the butt of the lions share of dumn hillbilly, backwoods, hicks, they can't be any good, football team.

    Look at UT. Even when they were GREAT consistantly. They did not get the kind of national coverage that the other great college teams did. Why...well, they're called "Tennessee".

    That is what I believe is the major issue.

    Mark Howard said on the Wakeup Zone this morning that after Sunday's game, Wash went over to KVB and told him it was an honor to coach him. Coming from Wash, that's high praise.

    One of the tv stations had film on that, Wash had tears when he hugged him.

    I think KVB is as close to the perfect player in the eyes of Wash. Not so much for his talent but the effort he gives. I listened to Wash talk on the DL to the media once in person, his respect for KVB was obvious in his words and expression. He even openly said the other players (Odom) should be more like him.
