Ok in reality i hate the scum. With a passion but i hope that USC plays like a powerhouse the rest of the way because they have games remaining against 2 of the 3 unbeaten teams left in the BCS. The 3 teams that will be ranked ahead of Bama when the rankings come out today.

Oregon has 3 more tough games. Stanford-Oregon State-USC. A USC rematch occurs in the pac-12 championship game. What is different about the new pac 12 championship game is that instead of a neutral field it will be played at the school with the best record so the Ducks get that game at home.

Notre Dame too gutless to join the Big ten and become that conference's 12th member plays USC in their final game. I doubt if Wake forest will beat them next week so USC is the only hope for a loss there.

Kansas State plays Baylor next week but finishes with Texas who is playing really good right now.

So yes expect to see Alabama in the bcs championship again.

I don't think anyone is beating Oregon in the "regular" season.

Notre Dame would have to be stupid to join the Big 10. They get to handpick their schedule.. No conference lording over them. If they want cupcakes on schedule, they pick them. They don't need to have Illinois, northwestern, Indiana, purdue, etc. built in every year.

They've got it made, and now they seem to be returning into what they should be.

And I'm not a fan of any college team, but totally understand why they stay independent.

Notre dame picks their schedule? They play the same 7 teams every year! Every single year they play Navy, Michigan, Mich st., Purdue, Air force, BC and USC. How does that give them flexibility?

You are aware that ND is going to be playing in the ACC right? The ACC?

They are located in a state with 2 other big ten teams. They are a hour and a half from Big ten corporate headquarters in Chicago. They already play 3-4 big ten teams every year.

And as for adding cupcakes to their schedule it is the opposite. To win a national title as an independent they have to add harder teams to that list which is why they played Oklahoma this year.

They used to play Penn State every year until that team entered the big ten 20 years ago. They should have went with them.

And don't forget about basketball. The big ten is big time college basketball revenue. It's not just about football. That's part of why Missouri was so attractive to the sec.

ND belonged in the Big ten for football and basketball.
