I understand not wanting to back down because it opens things up for future deals BUT we cannot afford to have this guy miss a single TC snap.

 

Every stinking year. I'm getting tired of this sheet.

 

If the team is afraid Mariota won't play out his deal they shouldn't have drafted him at 2.

 

This is getting stupid......Just do it already...They turned down everyone for the kid, so ride it out and get it over with.

You don't draft a guy #2 overall and cut him within four years... even if he sucks.

The contracts are supposed to be fully guaranteed. It's fair. We're lucky this wasn't 2010. Mariota would be getting between $50-60mil guaranteed.

When you take a guy #2 overall, cutting him in four years shouldn't even be a realistic thought that pops in your head. But apparently the Titans want to think that's a possibility.

Pathetic.

That said, it shouldn't be an issue for either side - Mariota or the Titans.
