    I definitely understand what your saying, and agree with you on most points, but I let me be clear with what I meant by protesting.

    I'm not advocating not watching the game. I'm just advocating that if we did boycott, we use the free methods to watch the game (internet streams instead of the corporate stations). The radio method you mentioned would be another alternative (although I want to see the action!). It wouldn't take many weeks before the NFL would get the message that the fans are serious.

    I agree with you about today's population, but just like any population, once it becomes the "in thing" to do, everybody will jump on board. Most people are just followers anyway. They'll do anything that's considered "cool" or "in" at the time.
