Aaron Ross isn't very good. In fact, he kind of sucks.

When I think about trading a pick in the 20's, I think back to 2004 when we stocked up on picks only to draft a bunch of nobodies. Do we really want to get another Ben Troupe, or Travis LaBoy who will most likely both be gone in 4 years? I don't. Where is Bo Schobel these days? We were able to draft him thanks to Houston swapping some picks with us.

I'd rather us grab a player like Adrian Clayborn or Kareem Jackson with the 20th pick. Trading back and collecting picks is risky when there's guys like Nnamdi Asomugha, and Ed Reed just waiting a few selections later. Not all 20th picks turn out to be Kenchi Udeze or Aqib Talib, most of them go on to become Pro Bowlers unlike Troupe and Calico types picked not far from 20.

I trust this front office for a change, I believe in their approach to retooling our team thru the draft. I'd hate to encourage them to step back when great players are available.

Teams would always love to trade back and compile more picks, but it rarely happens (unless you're the Pats) and has to be the perfect situation for both teams.
