maybe the titans will get lucky and holt would rather serve in heaven (titans ) then be over paid in hell.
I wish that were true. However, there are not many players who seem to choose based on environment and potential success if someone else has two truckloads of money instead of one.
I mean...they gotta be able to make sure their family is "secure" you know...because the millions they have made over the years just won't cut it.
i would think he would want to be a on a team closer to the super bowl then the hags...after being apart of a losing season the past two years...wouldnt you want to prove your worth?
thats not always true i can think of 2 wideouts in like the last 2 or 3 years that we offered more money for and they choose to retire and play the 3rd spot for the pats.
According to a radio station in Jax, Holt had dinner with Garrard last night after leaving the facility with no deal in place yet. If a deal isn't announced by the end of today then it's clear the Jags are going to play this the same way we are - stick to a number you think he's worth now, given the potential risk. If the money's about equal I'd think TN would have to be his best option, unless he's satisfied with his 1 ring...
I think Holt will be a Jag by the weekend. jags would love to have a vet WR like Holt and would love to keep him off the Titans roster.
if he dont leave jax, today i think he will stay.
Saw on ESPN that Holt plans to visit more teams and wont sign with anyone until he's visited all the teams who want him. So as usual the Jags fans are wrong.
Well if true then he is looking for top Dollar and not really a certain team.
