I get the feeling TN wants to pass a bit more in 09 after signing Nate and charging Holt. We have the O-line while they questionable at best there this year..
    Money money money

I bet the TOMB girl would forget Holt in a second if ToGon or Ocho got into the Titans rumor mill.. It's all about the name..

As much as I would love to draft a stud WR this year, I would rather have Holt. A rookie WR, no matter how great he is, will not make as much of an impact as Holt will this season. No one knows which, if any, WRs in this draft class will turn out to be worth a #1 pick. Holt is a proven stud. Win now, baby!

If he signs with the hags, I'm not really worried about our secondary being able to shut Holt down. But I do worry that Holt would help them win too many games.

  5. Dinger has always been a balanced OC, we won't over spend to get Holt, but I believe we offer more of an opportunity to Holt than Jax does.

By the way, who said Holt is looking for the #1 spot? If I were Holt I'd be looking not only for the money but also for a place that isn't going to try and run me into the ground on every play and shorten any money making yrs I might have left.

Going after Holt doesn't mean he becomes the number #1 or any other position. What it does mean is we have another decent weapon and a vet to help bring along Gage and Hawk.

I got a feeling Titans and Holt are on bad terms now. I just dont think Holt likes TN. He prob rather be near Miami Beach.

Of course they do, their a bad team, they need a lot of things more than we do.

Jags are just the kind of team that will over pay Holt cause they think it would make them as good as us.

they need way more than a WR.

this makes me mad! i mean had we not have tried as hard as we have and he chooses them to visit first, thats one thing, but the titans have tried very hard, when hardly any teams were showing intrest, they were even willing to do a trade with the rams to get him, which FELL SHORT and then after all of that, he chooses the JAGS FIRST?! to me, thats a slap in the face, and now i have totally given up! i think that he will be a jag and good riddence if that is the case ! think of my view point what you will, but at least the titans have tried really hard to get him, now looking back, because in my frustration i did not feel that way at first! if he came here, he would be on a great team that is primed for another go at the superbowl, with one of the most solid offensive lines in the NFL and he would automatically ne number one , with gage at two, nate washington at 3. oh well! come to think of it, a huge part of me still wants holt, but thats growing smaller and smaller!

oh we will probably draft a reciever in the 5th or 6th round like we always do, and which them live up to why they went that low in the first place, BECAUSE THEY SUCK!
