Not sure how I feel about it, more excited about making a trade than who the trade is for lol
TS is a deep threat but alot of criticism that Mariota can't throw deep, at least not with any accuracy, so why would JRob discuss a trade for one?

 

It's an option. worth it if we got a good deal. He's a burner and has some good hands.

 

Hes a one trick pony that would possibly back the defense up helping the run game, but the run game isnt struggling, and Smith catches less than 50% of whats thrown his way

then factor in Mariota not being great deep, IDK why either

 

But we have seen what the deep ball does for our offense..and Mariota has shown improvement in that area why not give him a guy thats a specialist in that area.

 

I might be ok with this if we can get him for cheap. A late round pick? Sure. Any more, no thanks.

Our run game is clicking could leave TS open more, Mariota could take advantage. He has improved.

 

People act like he's being shopped as a WR1 and critiquing the trade like that. He would be a contributor to a short handed titans WR core. Also if you think TS is a one trick pony you could make that argument, but a one trick pony is better than a no trick pony which is the majority of our WR core. Cheaper to get a burner now than draft one.
