I agree that their would be just as many holes to fill, but I don't think they would be as costly as signing Mario Williams and then the scheme wouldn't be as dependent on 1 player as well.

I think Casey could play NT or DE in a 3-4. You don't have to be a 340 lber to be an effective NT. Jay Ratliff for the Cowboys does just fine and he is only around 290 Lb. Shaun Cody and Earl Mitchell the Texans NTs are around 300lbs.

The 2 guys I would target if moving to a 3-4 would be Ahtyba Rubin and Adam Carricker. Rubin is a guy that nobody talks much about but for the 2nd yr in a row he had over 80 tackles and this yr he had 5 sacks to go along with it. That is tremendous production. He also is a young guy. Carricker also is young and finally seemed to find his fit playing 3-4 DE for the Skins. Neither of them would sign cap killer contracts either.

We can guarantee that a 3-4 rush Lber would be on the board at #20.

I doubt we do it, but IMO the 3-4 defense is better suited to stop the run and rush the passer. It is not as reliant on having guys who can win one on one battles all the time, but instead gets pressure with confusion.

Haha you didn't hear? A nose tackle over 320 is the new sub 4.4 receiver.

Casey could play NT but he is pretty athletic and would be better suited as a 5tech. Imo

or a good running back....you guys are all going to be agreeing with me that we should of traded cj last year and then we should of traded him this year because next year we will most likely end up cutting him if he doesnt perform well and getting nothing out of him...i'd contact fisher to see if they would give up their second for cj and ship his az out

Your bottom two scare me. Ingram is highly athletic but lacks a position. Short arms, I don't think he will do much as a 43 end. A 34 OLB I think he might be above average but for us we would waste him.

Quentin Coples.... This guy will be a flop. He has very little drive. Only flashes when he wants to. AH of the DE world. Dudes motor is crap and I don't think he loves the game. Maturity problems along with $$$$... Yikes. Even in some of his interviews, dude looks disconnected.

That's why they're ranked in order... I'm scared by them also, but if all those other players are gone, i'd be OK with risking a pick on them.

Okay, making sure. I miiiiight swing in Ingram if we were going to switch to a base 34 but coples... Whatever team drafts him needs to do so,e extra home work to make sure they don't get the senior bowl version as a pro.

I'm really diggin Kendall Wright, but we'd HAVE to get some solid FAs (especially DE, CB, C, and a servicable S).
