Titans Will Look for Best Player Available in Draft

I trust the Titans draft gurus right now. I hope they don't let us down. I don't want a WR CB tandem like Andre Woolfolk (1st rd), Tyrone Calico (2nd rd). At the time I thought we had a good draft! wrong!

 

Any honest Titans fan has numerous reasons to be skeptical about any Titans draft picks. We're in the bottom third of NFL teams for production from draft picks out of the last 10 seasons.

That said, things have turned around some in the last couple of seasons. Nice to be on an uptrend.


Drafting Best Player Available is a myth.

 

We usually draft just fine when we're picking around the bottom half of the league. It's when we have those higher draft picks we tend to screw it up.

 

I think there will be a couple of good DE's left at pick 30 and we will grab one. prob a DE Hybrid.

 

I thought hybrid DE's were only successful in 3-4 defenses?
what is a hybrid DE btw... a player who doesn't drink much water?

 

Well only those last two times i think. McNair and Eddie George turned out pretty well. Our best seem to actually be the mid-round picks
