Vrabel threw out the first pitch last night at the Sounds game... and for some weird reason his son also threw a first pitch afterwards.... very odd


but it was cool seeing Vrabel...

also Rickey Henderson coached first base for the Sounds last night.

and also it rained and they played thru it... would NOT have done that back in my day.

guess the stadiums are just that much better now. Draining away the water that is.

That bit on the equipment manager was captivating...

 

Kinda helps get exposed to your team -- when your team takes the initiative to running a 'Movie Sceries' -- rather than waiting on the league to flip the usual script of Big TV Market Media Circle Jerks...

 

Episode one was just alright. I could have done without the long intro stuff. But I guess it was valuable for casual fans.

I thought episode two tonight was very, very good. Very impressed with Pat O'Hara and Rob Moore. This coaching staff are not only excellent teachers, but excellent communicators as well.

It may take some time, but I think our players are really going to improve under this staff.

 

Just watched episode 2 and 3, way better than the first one. Looking forward to e4 with the secondary, Coombs looks like a riot.

I was surprised there was no mention of Wadley in the RB episode though.

 

I hope they continue the series through the season
