Pre-Game Thread Titans vs Chiefs: Postgame Discussion

Long as we beat the colts i'll be satisfied. at least for that week.

If we beat the jagrags and houston both times, i'll be very happy.

 

If we can beat DAL and then split with Bengals / Colts, then our season will be looking pretty good.

 

why settle for 3-1? we're going 4-0!

4-0 would be great ... just trying to be realistic/conservative with my expectations after only 1 win.

I think we should beat DAL, and we have the talent to hang with Cincy & the Colts, but both will be tough games. I was just saying that I would be more than alright if we split that with the given scenario so far.

Next we go on a run of pretty easy teams:
Browns
Jags
@Redskins
Texans

All 4 of those should be wins (unless we pull some Munchak magic and lose to the bad teams) ... but you know the saying "any given sunday", so lets say we lose to 1 of those 4 teams. Puts us at 6-2

Then after the bye, the schedule gets a bit tougher, but not that tough. Next 3 games are:

@Ravens
Steelers
@Eagles

I think we could beat any of those teams, but they will all be tough. Just to be conservative, I say we lose all 3. That puts us at 6-5 going into the final stretch that gets a little easier.

That still leaves us with
@Texans
Giants
Jets
@Jax
Colts

So out of those final 5 games, we would need to win 3 or 4 IMO to make the POs. All of those games are winnable .. so I think we could def pull off 3/5 to make it into the Post season.

So honestly, I feel 9-7 is very possible, and if we beat all the teams that we should beat, or steal a game then we could easily be 10-6 or 11-5 and be playing for a division title week 17

Really there is not 1 game on this schedule that I feel like we have no chance in so its hard to assign W/L's to each game. So I just like to break it down in groups knowing that we won't win them all.

It has been quite a while since I went to a game expecting a W

I dont need a 43-0 beatdown. I just want a W when the clock stops running

 

Yeah...but still....

 

@ Eagles will be the toughest game of the year by far.

Steelers, Ravens, Eagles is a tough 3 game stretch there.
