Tanne hill isn't inconsistent, he just is who he is. If the players around him play well, then so will he. If they don't, especially the O line, he'll try to do too much and struggle . Whereas Mariota is unpredictable and a complete wild card

Guess you haven't been watching the games since he's been here.

Do you think about what you're gonna write before you do it? Do you look up stats or watch film...or just highlight reels?

Tannehill's play was all over the map last year. Some really great games, some horrifically bad ones, and some in between. His completion percentage is all over the map. His yards per game varies wildly as do his TD/turnover stats. That's pretty much the definition of inconsistency....and what angers a lot of Titans fans about Mariota.

When that applies to Mariota , it's because his line was awful, his receivers can't get open, his OC sucks, etc. But when the inconsistency applies to Tannehill, who has actually had a shockingly bad offensive line, it's 100% on him.

Tannehill consistently has a good QB rating in a clean pocket. One of the best during some years. This is the best way to judge a QB performs when his team isn't creating problems for him, and he is consistent when that's not an issue. So during his bad games,I think that you could argue that his team sucked. Mariota, on the other hand, has been one of the worst QBs in the league while not under pressure during the last two years. Which makes a strong case that he's simply inconsistent and prone to make mistakes on his own, and that his team isn't always to blame.

Mary is steady, thats really his most endearing quality.

Hes not always elite like we wish he would be, but Mary doesn't give much back to the defense. He just picks at defenses and doesn't take major shots often enough to make up for the few mistakes hes liable to sometimes make. But more times than not hes not the problem. Which is workable.

Your analysis for Mary and love for Tanny makes no sense, they are almost the same QB.

Id expect a person with so little faith in mary to also hate the idea of Tanny in the game.

Some wanted him gone from the beginning of last season. Even after we beat the Eagles and Patriots. They'd talk about him, he'd do something amazing, and they wouldn't say anything about him the rest of the game. Was annoying at the end.

Mary May be steady and conservative, but he’s often injured and wants a big payday. THAT is where the problem lies....

I think at this day in age game managers are worth 20M

Joe Flacco, Nick Foles, Alex Smith til he broke his leg all in the $20M range and not much more than game managers.

If you want to get a rookie and the contract that comes with those guys just remember Jake Locker, Blaine Gabbert, and Paxton Lynch... Not every 1st rd QB pans out. And with this roster Mary can exist.
