SUMMARY: With the Titans making moves to get under the cap today, GM Floyd Reese said the team will be a minor player in free agency and plans to improve the roster as opportunities present them. "We will be able to participate in free agency," said Reese. "We will not be a big player, but we will be able to participate. In the players that we have now, we have money pocketed in three or four different places, and then at a point in time we will probably also get into the exchange player system if we have to. That is, if we find somebody we think is a better player than somebody we have, they take that guy’s money, give it to the next guy and improve ourselves that way."
