I like this. The only thing, in or division Jacksonville is loading up for a SB run and i saw last night they were talking to the eagles about Lito Sheperad

Don't you thinks that's a bit emotional? I view a move like that as a setback. It's not like the team has been complete crap since 2004. Your post reads as if making the playoffs is grounds for firing everyone. Who are they going to get? You know that some team would instantly fire thier head coach to get Fisher. I just think a move as drastic as that would just kill any chance we had of rebounding and making the ultimate push to a championship.

edit: Also not that Bud Adams has made that mistake before. He wants to win a SB before he dies you know.

According to Mike Mayo of nfl network, Chris Johnson brings an extra dimension to the Titans scheme immediately. The return game already has an upgrade, at any time he run one back to tha house. Lavelle Hawkins was a # 2 receicer behind Desean Jackson in CA, but i heard people saying he has better receiver skills than Jackson. I guess we will see in trainning camp who wants to be # 1 in our wideout depht chart.. GoTitans!!

Until they play, all opinion on these guys is pure speculation. But, on paper, CJ should be a weapon which Dinger can use a number of ways. He should be able to contribute immediately. The return game will get a big boost.

Hawkins appears to be the biggest value of the Titans draft but the scout analysis (if you want to believe them) is mixed. Apparently, some teams felt he wasn't the third-round talent the Titans felt he was. Other see him as the best player taken in the fourth round.

    Time will tell.

This article just made me aware that this was Bedingfield's ("Scout coordinator") first draft. This "unified" stance sounds too much like "damage control" to me.

This guy's nuts are on the line already.

He's been a scout for over a decade, I think. His role has changed but this isn't his first rodeo.

It is as "Scout coordinator". Tough to lay out a "controversial" draft with your first year as "Scout coordinator". These fliers better pan out quick or next people folks will wonder.

Look- I'm not in to dropping a wet blanket on this draft class. I like the players we got. But I'm also not in to press "whitewash" on the issue either. IMO- we didn't have a good strategy at all- we didn't move up when we should have and we did when we shouldn't have.

Being unified may be a good thing because it suggests their plan was thoroughly developed before the first pick was taken. But it also suggests a "let's keep quiet about how bad it went" press effort. The conclusion is the same as always- we'll just have to see how the players we got can play.

I just wish they would clarify further why we didn't wind up with more "play-makers" like they indicated "pre-draft" or spend more time why they feel we got "play-makers" with our class.

Hopefully, we can change this to "CREDIT everyone for this draft".
