That is at least a couple years a way. And then all of their players just get that much more expensive to sign. Having to pay Mahomes will impact them and they will not be able to retain all their talent

 

The cap going up just makes all salaries more expensive. The percentage of salary you give to different players won’t be much different than it is with the current cap. Paying Mahomes top dollar will impact their talent level. Unless they are as good at personnel as the Patriots, they won’t be on top for that long. Can they be in the mix regularly. Of course.
