Roster move: The Titans are expected to sign former Lions linebacker LaVar Woods to their active roster today.

Woods was one of three linebackers who worked out for team officials on Tuesday. He's a six-year NFL veteran who played his first four seasons with the Cardinals before signing with the Lions last year.

Former Texans linebacker Roy Manning and Ryan Myers, a former Jet, also worked out for the Titans. The Titans will need to waive a player to make room for Woods.

I guess Thornton is hurt worse than we thought.

    Wonder who we'll move?
  3. Why bother playing Thornton at this point? Let's just IR him. It's either that or waive Toone or Nande...

funny we go after a turd instead of giving Toone and Nande first dibs...............classic Fish.
  5. totally agree with you, this is rather suprising, I'd prefer to put the rookies out there, get experience...

Fry Welcome to the land of tomorrow!

didnt you just say last week nande is clueless as to what his assignment are? i dont blame fish for not wanting him in there. we all saw what breakdowns on defense can do this past week.
  7. well i think that we should have tulloch in because he is doing a much better job than sirmon was i think

I think this is depth as well, I don't think we'll see him on the field. The rookies will get some shots if Thornton is really out.

Shame to lose him, he's been a difference maker this year.

Tullock isn't ready to play OLB, so I assume that is why we signed this guy. Sirmon needs to be at MLB.

What? Why? He's been horrible and imo quite a bit worse than Tulloch.
