He absolutely needs work. Which is why you put him in a position where he doesn't have to play year 1, so he can iron out the issues with his mechanics and bad habits. In a division with Luck and Watson, we need an answer. Game managing QBs aren't it.

I've been a critic of Mariota this offseason, but taking a 1st round QB this year makes absolutely no sense. Marcus is healthy now, Tannehill is healthy and we traded for him.

There's no reason to get some middling QB before figuring out what we're going to do with the 2 QB's we have on the roster right now.

Probably won't happen. But in a world where a QB from Wyoming with mediocre stats went in the top 10, I'll never understand why the #2 All-time passing yardage leader in the SEC with a rocket arm and athleticism which had him recruited by Wichita State as a basketball player isn't a lock for the top 5. Lock. Get it?
