The Titans released quarterback John Skelton on Tuesday to make room for QB Tyler Wilson on their 53-man roster.

Skelton served as the team’s No. 3 quarterback in recent weeks behind starter Ryan Fitzpatrick and back-up Rusty Smith.

Wilson, formerly with the Raiders, signed a multi-year deal with the Titans. The team hopes to develop him and have him in the mix at the position heading into the 2014 season.

I like this dude. Hopefully he'll separate himself from the rest of our QBs during camp.
