I didn't know we drafted Lattimore yet. What if he goes top 4?

    I wish him the best.

He'll test the market and I wouldn't count out the Titans resigning him if he doesn't get a nice offer.

Or, that chunk of moolah goes a long way towards bringing in Sherman.

Please outline to me the benefit of cutting McCourty. And do not say:

    Saves money toward the cap
Gives our young guys a chance.

We already have a ton of money.
And, we have young guys who are not good, and by far our weakest position on the roster is at Corner, and we just let our only true outside Corner go? Logan Ryan has played primarily Nickel his entire career. Why not wait until after the draft or training camp once we have guys chosen and on the roster?

But when are we making him into a safety?

I wouldn't have complained if we had kept him for his price tag. We had the money.

    But they didnt.

They tried to negotiate, and couldn't agree. It may have been about numers or it could be about playing time. We overpaid for inferior production for years. Personally, I'm glad we don't have that mentality anymore. It also gives him more time to find a job. (and I was one of the first to say the timing was odd)

Saying he is an outside corner is just that, saying he is one. He was not good last year. He has, without a doubt, lost a step. He's just downright not an effective outside option anymore.

You go with Ryan, Sims, and draft picks or a trade.

So again.. Are you actually upset that we cut McCourtey? What is your argument for how he improves the roster when we saw the results first hand last year? He's not getting better.

Conley may be the better bet.
