Surprised by the Egboh move. I guess his hype was a smokescreen to get Morgan going.

Wyatt said on Twitter that Egboh was a product of Grey's hype and don't be surprised about him being cut.

Offensive lineman Troy Kropog, released by the Titans on Tuesday, was claimed on Wednesday by the Jaguars. He was a fourth-round pick of the Titans in 2009.

The Titans released Kropog and defensive end Pannel Egboh to make room for guard Deuce Lutui and wide receiver Kenny Britt on the 53-man roster.

Indications are the Titans would’ve re-signed Kropog to the practice squad had he not been claimed.

“I coached (Kropog) for a couple of years and brought him here for a reason,” Munchak said. “It never quite worked out the way we hoped. I am happy for him. Sometimes getting a new opportunity somewhere else is a good thing. Hopefully in Jacksonville he’ll get an opportunity move forward with his career.”
