Titans receive Jared Cook trade request

I hear he has all our DE needs covered.

 

He does have more catches than any of our current ends.........almost as many sacks too.

 

Yeah, I agree, might as well keep him. Drafting, at least for the Titans, is often a craps shoot. it cost us a second. It was a gamble and it took a while for him to show up because they love a blocker. Titans dont care much for TE's that make a lot of catches and TD's. Very unlikely the team drafts or trades for another productive TE.

 

Craig Stevens is a better overall player for this system anyway...Stevens blocks his ass off and makes amazing catches. Yeah, it sucks, but we could be worse off.

 

Love the guy, I've had 89 on the car since he has been here, but...

If he wants out, he's got to go. The only thing less focused than Jared Cook is a distracted Jared Cook.

 

Ouch this is a big blow. It's never good to have a player that isn't happy on the team. I feel like we are da**ed if we do and da**ed if we don't. I hope we get a good pick for him...

 

We went from trying to extend him to now possibly trading him...

 

I don't want to see Cook go and I'm hoping this action will shake things up. Maybe Munch or Palmer will take a harder look at the situation and make some type of offensive adjustments to try and get Cook a little more involved. Maybe this can be some kind of wake up call that the ship is leaning........

 

Be a shame if Cook is gone - he was a Fisher pick though and had to move up to get him so its not like Munch is attached at the hip with him - even so can't really blame him if the Titans won't target him or play him only half the game. O well and so it goes for the "Titan fanbase". He will obviously walk for big money on a tight end-starved team in the offseason if the Titans don't lock him up now!

 

Oh, and I unplug my toaster. Mostly a carryover from my mom...
