More playing less talking...
No I can't say that I've ever been in a position where I was pursued by the police due to suspicious/suicidal behavior.
Well hopefully he shows what he can do in preseason. I have to admit even though I am a die hard VY fan, the offense ran smoother when Collins was under center.
you know what i mean wise guy.
some time in your life, your parents, coach, teacher etc... did something that you didnt think needed to be done.
VY really felt he did not need the police called etc... and him not saying anything was eating him alive. he could'nt live with the fact fans and media really believed he was suicidal. He just felt like he needed to set it straight.
VY is just pissed Fisher ruined his image. I dont think he will ever get over the grudge. VY prob wants out of this town and away from this team as quick as he can. I'm sure he wants it all behind so he can move on with another team.
Fisher has spent the last nine months covering for Vince and endeavoring to put a good spin on the words Vince has with the media. In this instance Vince has called into question Fisher's actions that night. If he hasn't lost Fisher's support yet, might this be the tipping point?
Because we have a capable QB that has proven he can win with the guys he has around him right now, and at times, they can play at a championship-caliber level. You don't mess with that just because your backup starts whining and wants the job to be handed to him on a silver platter.
I'm skipping everyone's response to this so don't mind me if I'm repeating anything said. My take on it as it was happening was; Vince is a grown man maybe not acting like it, but really how old is a mature person? I'm 22 run an outerwear company, have two kids and am engaged, but I know I still have plenty of growing up to do. I'm in many ways ahead of the game, but still in many ways also have plenty of growing up ahead of me. Sure Vince handles some things well, and other things not so well. He was thrown into something very few men can manage. I cant say anything for sure about what I would have done had I been in Vince Young's shoes but I certainly can understand some things being misconstrued and twisted. No one but him knows for sure about the details of the whole indecent and don't need to. We as fans go with what the Titans are doing and not so much what each player is doing. Perhaps breaking it down on a players level we could appreciate what the game from the inside is all about. Id like to think VY can get it straight and be the guy he was drafted to be, but now as our offense evolves Vince needs to as well, because his role has immensely changed. He now must be a piece of the offense and not 'the' offense. Growing up is different for everyone so lets roll with the punches as VY matures into the role we need him to be.
That means he's quit on the team AT LEAST twice. This is terrible. He is officially a quitter.
titans fan say that vince youngs police hunt embarrassed the ENTIRE organization.
that would be a great headline..because thats what happened.
