  1. I may be one of the few people on this forum who started supporting them when they were the Tennessee Oilers...

Been a Oiler-Titan fan since 1978 and can honestly say that my heart bleeds "BLUE" wheather it be columbia blue or navy, and when the Oilers moved to TN it was very hard to remain a fan, I felt betrayed. But, not by Bud but, by the fans in Houston who would not support the franchise. Houston did not deserve a "New Team" and I welcome the fans who came on board in '99. I am fully a Titan fan now, but I have great memories of Oiler moments in the past, and will never forget them.

You really have absolutely no clue about what happened in Houston do you. You should find a NONE BIASED book and read up on it. I don't mind that people who were too nieve to realize what Bud did to the Oilers fans in Houston root for the Titans, but to place the blaim on me as a fan is one of the stupidest comments that can be made.

Being from Canada, and being in awe of the Edmonton Eskimos winning 5 straight Grey Cups in such dominating fashion, back when the CFL was a rival to the NFL, and seeing Warren Moon, the legendary Esks' QB who seemed to be a man amongst boys, jump to the NFL to play with the (then) lowly Oilers, I had to follow suit. I wasn't even an Esks fan, just was awestruck by their perfection, and I had to see what Moon could do in the NFL. That's when it started for me

for what was spent on Reliant Stadium and creating an entirely new franchise, they could easily have built the Oilers a new home (or 2) and avoided the move

We are not the oilers. They died when we made the move for a name change. Two totally different teams...
