Honestly, I feel Walker is too important to our teams identity to trade right now.

 

There would major blow back from fans if we moved Walker. Hes as much a part of the turn around as anyone, and is Mariota's go-to option.

We have spent the last two years focusing on guys who grind day in and day out. Taking one of the most productive players who fits that mantra and moving him would likely blow up in our faces.

And that’s not to mention what he is doing for J. Smith. Very similar player and Walker seems to have no issue mentoring him. Think probably would not be able to do that.

 

as much as I love delanie.... Gronk is only 29 and Delanie will be 34 before the season starts.... if we could have traded 1 for 1 or even traded delanie + dodd/latepick for gronk.... huge huge upgrade. i would be all for it.

also... gronk currently gets paid LESS than delanie
