Did the Pats show a lot of interest in him during the offseason, or are you just meaning because he was chosen with the same pick Brady was?

 

Whoever said Brady makes Gronk good and then compared him to some no name from ATL "well this 6 foot 7 guys isn't good without Brady, neither will Gronk"

I was comparing size saying it doesnt mean anything and used taller guys than Gronk. Funny u pick apart my post and didnt mention Graham at all, only the TE for ATL. Gronk is light years better than who I mentoned just said hes product of the system with Brady.

 

It is definitely an overblown claim that Brady makes players better. Before Moss, he was achieving run of the mill stats and posting QB ratings in the middle or bottom half of all QBs in the league. He's had him or Gronk every year since. 2013 was his worst season in the last 15 , and Gronk was out over half the year without a suitable replacement. Welker was his crowning achievement, but even he had a 1,000 yard season with Matt Cassell at QB. Maybe these guys can actually play.

 

It's like people forget how ****ing awesome the Pats' offense was when they had Gronk and Hernandez.

Plus, get Gronk off the Pats and that weakens a team we have to go through to get to the Super Bowl.

Are Gronk's number inflated some playing with Brady? Probably. So without Brady he goes from maybe the most productive TE ever to simply a great player.

I'd take that.

 

Yeah, MM would have said "gronk" is a great blocker...we plan to take advantage of that when we ram our rb's into the line 62 times per game.
