    CINCINNATI Titans linebacker Akeem Ayers was carted to the locker room after suffering an ankle injury in the first quarter of Saturday night’s preseason game against the Bengals.

    Ayers initially walked off the field after suffering the injury on an incomplete pass. He was carted to the locker room and the team called his return questionable.

    The third-year pro had 30 starts in his first two seasons.
