Game Day Thread Titans @ Jags GDT

They are at home. Don't know about them being more talented. especially with their best WR out for the season. They do have more defensive talent. That said, the Titans are clearly far more talented on offense than the Jaguars.

Kicking a 52 yard FG isn't considered marching down the field. That's exactly what good defenses do. NFL team will let you kick 52 yard fields goals all day. The Titans defense isn't great but it isn't bad either. The offense lost the game last week. If the offense does their job the RAiders don't score as much

 

Haven't been this nervous to play the Jags since ... maybe 1999? Handle the business, killer instinct ... otherwise this could be a heartbreaker

 

Mariota > Bortles

Murray/Henry > Fournette/Ivory

Davis/Mathews/Decker > Lee/Hurns/Benn

Walker/Smith > Lewis/Koyack

We don't even have to go there on the o-line. Titans are more superior than Jags on offense than the Jags over the Titans on defense. Btw, some of those "big names" on the Jags defense have yet to prove they are what people thought they would be as NFL players.

 

I see this being pretty close, with us pulling this out....20-17 Titans.

Agree that any division game is a must win, especially for us this season after last season.

 

Yes. Looking back on last season nothing is more disappointing than our division record.

 

Sorry but no solid defense allows an offense to gain 57 yards w/ 35 seconds to go in the first half to go ahead for an FG. Offense moved the ball pretty good last game the only bad part is they were very bad in the redzone.

MDefense is , inconsistent pass rush, with horrible secondary that allows big yardage. This team was ranked at the bottom of the league for yards allowed on air. Thats not a solid defense.
